Join us for our 4th annual trip to Vermont, as we enjoy the colorful transformation of fall in the Northeast. This year we will start with our traditional trip to the quaint town of Stowe, Vermont with the option to extend your trip and also visit the iconic Shelburne Farms Inn (an experience you will not want to miss out on)! Many say they can't get enough of Vermont and wish they had a few more days, so we are excited to offer this option for 2025.
In Stowe, we will have the privacy of an entire inn to ourselves nestled in the mountains of Vermont with homemade breakfast served to us each morning, a hot tub, and a community room to enjoy each other’s company. Each day will be filled with unique tours of Vermont’s best offerings like the Von Trapp Resort, Ben & Jerry’s, visiting a Maple Sugarhouse, tastings of New England's culinary treats, and so much more. With plenty of time to take picturesque photos of the quintessential views and enjoy the beautiful season of fall, this will be a trip you can mark off your bucket list.
If you choose to extend your trip, you will get to experience a scenic train ride through Burlington and other small towns on the Green Mountain Dinner Train. Enjoy a relaxing three-hour round-trip dinner train from while partaking in a three-course gourmet dinner as the beautiful Vermont landscape rolls by your window. Then continue our journey you will get to spend a full day at the Shelburne Museum. One of the most popular and largest historical attractions in Vermont with over 45 acres, 30 historical buildings, 22 gardens, art exhibits, and more. There is literally something for everyone. On our last day, we will enjoy a relaxing day at the Shelburne Farms Inn. If you choose to join in on the Farm Tour, we'll get an overview of the daily activities that go on at the farm. Then you can enjoy your day off or join in on the daily activities like milking a cow and watching cheese being made to enjoying an afternoon tea or visiting the bakery. The choice is yours.
We will then wrap up our last day in Burlington downtown before heading home. Venture down the well known Church Street Market, or take a stroll along the lake enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery. As we gather to a close, we will head home to DFW while reminiscing all the wonderful adventures and memories we made together.
