6 Helpful Phone Apps to have when Traveling

Which apps are the most helpful to have when you’re traveling? We’ve reviewed the top 6 phone apps that we use most frequently when traveling. Do you have others we should consider?

✈️ Airline app- It can help keep you updated for your flight information, if you have any changes to your flight and help you check into your flight more easily.

🗣️ Google Translate- If you're going to a county where a different language is spoken it can be very helpful to have this app. You can speak and the app can translate what you're saying for someone speaking a different language to read or hear. And you can use it to understand what others are saying in a different language as well.

📸 Photo Circle- This is a great app if you're traveling with others so you can share pictures easily. It's free (but you have to see ads) to join Photo Circle and create a group (circle). When you upload pictures in your group everyone has access to them.

🚖 Uber- You never know when you'll need a ride when you're traveling, so it's great to have the Uber app (or even better, research what transportation app people use most where you're traveling) in case you need a ride.

🗺️ Maps.me- Google maps is a wonderful option when you need step by step navigation, but maps.me is a nice backup as it can help you when you're offline (if you don't pay for international data or happen to be in an area with poor internet this ability can be a God send).

📱 What's App- This is a free messaging app that is used commonly in many countries around the world. You can often contact hotels and drivers through this app.
